DIBOLL — A worker was taken by medical helicopter to a Tyler hospital following an industrial accident at ATCO Structures this morning. Around 10:00, a wall fell on a 44-year-old man while working at the facility at 1106 N. Temple Drive. Lufkin Fire Department and Diboll first responders transported the man from ATCO Structures to the helipad at Temple-Inland’s corporate headquarters. The company did not release any details immediately after the accident citing the need for further investigation. However, Lufkin Fire Chief Ted Lovett said a sheetrock wall fell on top of the man, and “he had some significant bleeding from the ear area.”
