Longview man arrested for sexual assault of child

LONGVIEW — The Longview Police Department arrested a 25-year-old man on Tuesday for sexual assault of a child.
The police department said officers were dispatched to a residence on Saturday at around 3:49 p.m. in reference to a sexual assault. Officials said during the course of the investigation, officers learned that a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by D’Marjai Dearion, 25 of Longview.
On Tuesday, the Longview detectives obtained a warrant for Dearion, who was arrested the same day for the sexual assault of a child. According to KETK, Dearion is being held on a $150,000 bond at the Gregg County Jail.
