Weekend Fatality in Harrison County

JONESVILLE – A driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, has died in a one vehicle wreck in eastern Harrison County. Killed around 3:00 Saturday morning in the one vehicle accident was Gerardo Munoz, 21, of Waskom. The Department of Public Safety reports he was east bound on U.S. Highway 80 near Jonesville when he lost control of his vehicle and it left the road and hit several trees.
