Area restaurants and stores open for Thanksgiving Day

EAST TEXAS – If you don’t want to roll the dice on your family’s cooking this Thanksgiving or need to pick up something last-minute, you’re in luck! Multiple local restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving Day, and our news partners at KETK have compiled a list of stores that’ll be open as well.

• Applebee’s, located at 5502 S Broadway Ave in Tyler and 101 W Loop 281 in Longview, will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

• Country Kitchen Restaurant at 1828 E Southeast Loop 323 in Tyler will serve guests from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Cracker Barrel, with locations at 13821 US Highway 69 N in Tyler and 822 S. Access Rd. in Longview from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Denny’s, at 3126 S Eastman Rd and 3244 W Gentry Parkway in Tyler, will be open.

• Fun Noodle Bar Asian Fusion Tyler at 713 W SW Loop 323 will be open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

• Golden Corral (114 E Loop 281 in Longview from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5602 S Broadway Ave in Tyler from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

• Happy’s Fish House, located at 2202 E 5th St in Tyler, will serve customers from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• IHOP, with Tyler locations at 115 W SW Loop 323 and 209 S SW Loop 323, will be open 24 hours, while the Longview location at 203 W Loop 281 will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

• Infield Restaurant & Sports Bar at 5201 S Broadway Ave in Tyler will operate from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Lemon Yellow Latin Bites at 2443 Mosaic Way Suite A will announce special hours on their Facebook page.

• Mercado’s at 2214 W SW Loop 323 in Tyler will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• Saltgrass Steak House, with locations at 7214 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler and 411 E Loop 281 Suite B in Longview, will serve customers from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Texas de Brazil, located at 2376 Dueling Oaks Dr #100 in Tyler, will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Texas Music City Grill at 5424 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler will serve Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• All Whataburger locations will remain open 24 hours on Thanksgiving.

• Ohayo Sushi’s regular restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but the restaurant will offer free Thanksgiving meals until supplies run out. There will be a traditional meal of smoked chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and a roll with gravy offered by Ohayo’s or an Asian option of orange chicken, fried rice, stamed broccoli and Chinese biscuits offered by Liang’s Chinese Restaurant. The free meals will be served beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday until plates are gone outside Ohayo Sushi, 6205 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.
