Synthetic Marijuana Seized from Local Shop

KILGORE — Over the last several months, the Kilgore Police Department have received many citizen complaints and information regarding D’s Smoke Shop, 2508 U.S. Hwy 259 N., Kilgore. According to KETK, the shop was reportedly selling Synthetic Marijuana products, commonly referred to as “K2” along with “Molly” pills.
On Friday, October 21, Kilgore Police executed a search warrant at D’s, resulting in two arrests. The owner Michael Siv, 43, Kilgore, and a store clerk, Vannwathanak Hun, 28, Allen, were both charged with violation of city ordinance, illegal smoking products and violation of city ordinance – adult business regulations. Both were booked into the Kilgore City Jail.
Police seized numerous boxes of suspected synthetic marijuana, suspected “Molly” pills and an AR-15 Rifle. Police also discovered the business was selling pornographic movies and magazines. All the pornographic items were also seized by police.
