Lufkin Burn Ban Extended

According to KETK, the ban prohibits all outdoor burning of brush, trees, and storm debris, along with open campfires. City officials say burning trash and construction material is never allowed within the city limits. They ask if you see anyone burning trash illegally, please call the police right away. The Texas Forest Service reports right now, outdoor burn bans continue in 251 of the state’s 254 counties.
