Man Found in Burned Truck Died from Gunshot Wounds

UPSHUR COUNTY — An autopsy released Monday showed that a man who was found in a burning car near Ore City died from multiple gunshot wounds. Gordon Maxwell, 46, was found dead August 30th on Texas 155 just north of Ore City. His wife, Sharon Stanley Maxwell, 43, is charged with murder in his death. She remained jailed on $750,000 bond.
