Wreck Near Troup Kills One

TROUP – An early Saturday morning wreck just east of Troup has killed one person. The accident happened around 12:15am when a pickup left the road and hit a tree. The Department of Public Safety reports Demarcus Renard Lydia, 29, of Troup, was dead at the scene. The report said he was not wearing a seat belt.
