Familes Displaced by Tyler Fire

TYLER – A weekend fire has closed a Tyler apartment complex. The fire in the 500 block of East Houston was reported just before 5:00 Saturday morning. A fire alarm alerted one resident, who in turn altered the others. No injuries were reported but about a dozen families were displaced. The initial report was the fire may have started from a cigarette around a sofa.
