Smith County observes Voter Registration Day

TYLER — The Smith County Elections Office is observing National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday. Officials plan to have six locations throughout the county to make it easy and convenient for people to register to vote, according to a news release. You must be registered by Monday, October 4, to be eligible to vote on November 2. Officials say to make it easier for those who still need to register, the Elections Office will have registration sites, manned by volunteer trained deputy registrars, at each location.
