National Night Out Kick-Off to be held as drive-thru event

LONGVIEW — Due to health and safety protocols, Longview’s National Night Out Kick-Off will be held as a drive-thru event. It’s set for Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Longview Convention Complex on Grand Blvd. Police say you can just drive up under the Maude Cobb Convention Center breezeway to register your neighborhood party. You can also get a yard sign and other promotional items to help with your party. The first thirty vehicles will receive a door prize. National Night Out parties will be held Tuesday, Oct. 5.
