Couple Indicted on Child Endangerment Charge

LONGVIEW — A Longview couple accused of endangering their 14-month-old child is indicted. Misty Ann Beasley, 27, and Jason Wayne Beasley, 34, were arrested May 16 after the father told a neighbor he believed someone had killed his child’s mother. Police said Jason Beasley was hallucinating and had chased imaginary people with a knife and pistol, discharging the firearm in public. The couple told police that they had taken meth in the past few days, but no one else was there to care for the 14-month-old child, who was in a crib in a separate room.
