Final week of Longview shoe drive

LONGVIEW — Buckner Longview is calling on the community for the final week of its annual Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls drive to reach its goal of 2,000 pairs of shoes. The goal of this year’s Longview Community Shoe Drive drive is to put new shoes on the feet of local children at the Junior League of Longview during the annual School Supply Train in August. Donations can be made now through June 18, according to a news release. Go here for more information.
