Portion of West Houston Street remains closed

TYLER — Plans call for the westbound lane of West Houston Street between South Palace Avenue and South Glenwood Boulevard in Tyler to remain closed at least until sometime Monday. The closure was put in place Friday due to groundwater issues, . Officials with the city say the street department will reassess the situation on Monday.
