Reacher has been renewed for season 5 at Prime Video.
The streaming service made the announcement Monday ahead of Amazon's upfront presentation. This renewal also comes before the release of the show's season 4 premiere.
Prime Video credits the early renewal to the show's popularity. Season 3 earned 54.6 million viewers worldwide in its first 19 days on Prime Video, according to numbers from the streamer. Season 4 is set to continue the show's high-stakes storytelling. It will find Alan Ritchson back in his starring role of Jack Reacher.
The streamer will release new details on the upcoming season 5 at a later time.
Season 4 is based on Lee Child’s 13th book in his bestselling book series, which is titled Gone Tomorrow. It follows what happens "when a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong," according to an official synopsis. "Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power."
Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan and Kathleen Roberston join the show's cast in season 4.
“From Lee Child’s globally beloved novels to its standout onscreen adaptation, Reacher has evolved into a true powerhouse franchise,” Peter Friedlander, the head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, said. “The series’ ability to combine high-octane action with compelling character storytelling continues to resonate with tens of millions of viewers around the world. Two new bombshells are entering the villa.
Summer House star Ciara Miller has joined Love Island USA as the new cohost of the show's companion series, Aftersun. She will now host the reality dating competition series' aftershow alongside Tefi Pessoa.
Peacock made the announcement in a post on Instagram Monday. "We had to pull these two for a chat," the post's caption reads.
Love Island USA season 8 will premiere to Peacock on June 2 at 9 p.m. ET. It will once again take place in Fiji with Ariana Madix returning as host.
The series follows singles who go on a search for love while living in a Fijian villa. "Throughout their stay in a tropical oasis, Islanders will couple up to face brand new heart-racing challenges and bigger twists and turns than ever before," according to season 7's official synopsis. "Temptations rise and drama ensues as new 'bombshells' arrive, forcing Islanders to decide if they want to remain with their current partners or recouple with someone new."
There is currently no word on who the new Islanders and bombshells will be.
Love Island USA Aftersun was previously hosted by The Traitors star Maura Higgins. Higgins and Miller are confirmed to be competing against each other on the upcoming season 35 of Dancing with the Stars.
In other Love Island USA news, its spinoff series Love Island Games has been renewed for season 3. Madix, who hosts the program, confirmed the news in a post on her Instagram Story Monday. She also shared an Instagram Story post about Miller and Pessoa joining the Love Island universe, writing, "welcome to the villa ... can't wait to show you around."

The trailer for Not Suitable For Work has arrived.
Hulu has released the official trailer for Mindy Kaling's new comedy series.
The show follows "five work-obsessed twenty-somethings who strive for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness, in Manhattan," according to its official synopsis.
It stars Ella Hunt, Avantika Vandanapu, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay and Jay Ellis. Also part of the cast are Victor Garber, Greg Germann, Judy Gold, Ego Nwodim, Harry Richardson, Constance Wu, Laura Bell Bundy, May Hong, Bhavesh Patel, Emilia Suárez and Michael Benjamin Washington.
The trailer shows off the main five cast members as they settle into their professional careers in New York City.
"It's my first real day of work and I have decided it's my alpha day," Hunt's AJ Pascarelli says in the trailer.
"Your what?" Vandanapu's Abby says in return.
"Did you get nothing from Wolf of Wall Street?" AJ says, as she laces her tie.
Kaling created Not Suitable for Work. She executive produces it alongside showrunner Charlie Grandy.
Not Suitable For Work premieres its first three episodes on June 2. Two episodes drop each week that follows, before the finale airs on June 23.

Brendan Fraser is ready to return to the world of The Mummy.
The actor spoke about the upcoming fourth installment in the film franchise while guesting on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday.
“Well, we’re gonna get the band back together,” Fraser said. “The only way to do it. So, we are going to give the audience what they have been bothering all of us for, for the last 20-whatever years.”
Fraser said he's been hoping another movie in the franchise would get made for a long time.
“I was hopeful for a long while, and then I was like, ‘I don’t know if they are.’ Then other Mummy movies got made. But listen, what we’re gonna do is saddle back up, go back to the locations — I should probably stop talking like this, because I don’t want to give everything away," he said.
The actor continued, asking fans of the franchise to "please wish me luck."
"I’m doing my best to get this 57-year-old gear in shape,” he said.
Fraser will reprise his role of Rick O'Connell in The Mummy 4, which is set for a theatrical release on Oct. 15, 2027.

The official trailer for the Cape Fear limited series adaptation has arrived.
Apple TV released the trailer for its psychological horror thriller based on the John D. MacDonald novel The Executioners. It's also based on the 1962 film Cape Fear and its remake, which was directed by Martin Scorsese in 1991.
Amy Adams, Javier Bardem and Patrick Wilson star in the new series, which has Scorsese and Steven Spielberg as executive producers.
"A storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson) when Max Cady (Bardem), the notorious killer they are responsible for putting behind bars, is let out of prison — and he wants vengeance," according to an official description of the show.
The trailer starts with Bardem's Max Cady, fresh out of prison, staring intently at someone.
"Let me ask you a question," he says. "What is your worst fear?"
Later in the trailer we see him approach Adams' Anna at an event.
"I had a good life once, too," he tells her. "Are you afraid of me?"
Anna scoffs, before she says, "Why would I be afraid of you?" The trailer then cuts to Anna speaking with her husband, Tom.
"Is there any way Max could know about what we did?" she asks.
Cape Fear premieres its first two episodes to Apple TV on June 5. It will release a new episode every Friday through the finale on July 31.

We have our first look at the new sketch comedy series from Larry David and the Obamas.
HBO has released a teaser trailer for its new series Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhapppiness. The show is produced by former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama's production company, Higher Ground.
"President and Mrs. Obama wanted to honor America’s 250th anniversary and celebrate the unique history of our nation on this special occasion," according to the show's official longline, "But then Larry David called."
The trailer begins with Barack Obama making a direct-to-camera address.
"I have sat across the table from some of the world's most difficult leaders and wrestled with some of the globe's most intractable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David," Barack Obama says. "I'm just a producer on this show, so I don't have to deal with him day to day. But still, it's a lot."
At the time the project was announced in July 2025, David released a statement on his decision to return to television after the end of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
“Once Curb ended, I celebrated with a three-day foam party. After a violent allergic reaction to the suds, I yearned to return to my simple life as a beekeeper, harvesting organic honey from the wildflowers in my meadow. Alas, one day my bees mysteriously vanished," David said. "And so, it is with a heavy heart that I return to television, hoping to ease the loss of my beloved hive.”
David and Jeff Schaffer wrote the series, which will feature a mix of Curb Your Enthusiasm actors and other noteworthy guest stars. Schaffer will direct the show.
Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhapppiness premieres June 26 to HBO and HBO Max.

The final trailer for Minions & Monsters has arrived.
Universal Pictures and Illumination have released a new trailer for the upcoming animated family film set in the Despicable Me universe.
This new film follows "the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created," according to an official description.
The trailer starts with the minions arriving in Hollywood. A classic movie trailer voice narrates through voice-over.
"In Hollywood, the new stars of the silver screen changed the face of the motion picture industry forever. The Minions are back with a touch of mystery," the voice says.
The film's voice cast includes Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, Trey Parker, Bobby Moynihan and Phil LaMarr.
Pierre Coffin, a director on the first three Despicable Me movies, as well as the first Minions film, helmed Minions & Monsters. Additionally, he provides the voice to all of the Minions, as he has done since their film debut back in 2010.
Minions and The Secret Life of Pets writer Brian Lynch penned the script and also serves as an executive producer on the project.
Minions & Monsters arrives in theaters on July 1.

Oscar Isaac is teaming up with Martin Scorsese for a new Netflix series.
Isaac is set to executive produce and star in a brand-new, eight-episode series for the streamer that is set in the high stakes world of Las Vegas and its casinos.
This currently untitled show comes from showrunners, executive producers and writers Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who are known for their work on the show Billions.
The pair have written about the gambling world before. They made their screenwriting debut with the cult thriller film Rounders, which is about poker, and they wrote the heist film Ocean’s Thirteen, which is also set in Las Vegas.
Scorsese will executive produce the series. The legendary director is no stranger to this world either, famously having helmed the movie Casino and having served as an executive producer on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, which is set in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The currently untitled series will be an hourlong drama series in present-day Las Vegas. Isaac will play Robert “Bobby Red” Redman, "president of the hottest hotel casino in town, who has to make some long odds moves to try and secure his position and take more ground," according to Netflix.
This role is part of a new creative partnership between Isaac and Netflix. The streaming service will have first-look rights on film and series projects with his production company, Mad Gene.

Accio, season 2!
HBO has renewed its upcoming Harry Potter series for a second season. This renewal announcement comes months ahead of the debut of the show's first season. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone will air on HBO and debut to HBO Max on Christmas Day 2026. Season 2 is set to begin production in fall 2026.
Additionally, Succession's Jon Brown, who was a writer on season 1, has been promoted to co-showrunner for season 2. He will serve in the role alongside Francesca Gardiner, the showrunner of season 1.
“As we have laid out our plans for the overlapping production schedules to finish season one by Christmas and to return to production for season two this Autumn, it has become clear that bringing on a co-showrunner is the key to maintaining our momentum," Gardiner said. "I’ve loved working with Jon from the very first day we met on Succession through to these recent times together on Harry Potter. Not only do I have huge admiration for his writing, but he’s also a brilliant collaborator and a lovely person. We are lucky to have him.”
Brown said he is "incredibly excited" to collaborate with Gardiner as co-showrunners.
"It has been a joy to write on Philosopher’s Stone and I’d like to thank Francesca and HBO for putting their faith in me to continue this remarkable journey. Seems you’re never too old to get your invitation to Hogwarts," Brown said.
Dominic McLaughlin leads the cast as Harry Potter. He stars alongside Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton, who play Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The show is described as a faithful adaptation of the books by J.K. Rowling, who serves as an executive producer.

Hayden Panettiere has publicly revealed that she identifies as bisexual.
The actress shared the detail about her personal life in a new interview with Us Weekly that was published on Wednesday. In the interview, Panettiere said it was her experience writing about her life for her new memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, that helped her decide to share this part of herself.
"Now that I know that this book is coming out, and that I’ve chosen to share it with the world, I’m comfortable to confidently say that yes, I am bisexual. I said it! This is the first time I got to say it out loud," Panettiere said.
The actress said she didn't always know what she would be comfortable sharing about herself in the two years it took her to write the memoir. This did come up, and she decided, "Why not?"
"I’ve chosen to be completely brutally honest about this, and that’s something about me that I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time," Panettiere said.
The actress continued, detailing her attraction to women but also that she felt "afraid" to come out at first.
"I was not encouraged to just be myself," she said. "Then it came, the period where it felt like people coming out, especially women coming out, and saying that they were bisexual or liked girls, was a fad."
Panettiere didn't want to be simply "jumping on the bandwagon," as she put it, rather, she "wanted to make sure that I really sat down and chose my words carefully and was able to tell my story in an honest way, that people understood. On one hand, it’s sad that I had to wait till I was 36 years old to share that part of me, but better late than never, right?”

Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for its upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle. The show follows the character Elle Woods, who was originated by Reese Witherspoon in the 2001 film, as she takes on high school.
Lexi Minetree stars as young Elle Woods in the upcoming series. The prequel follows Elle as "we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love," according to Prime Video.
"We meet her in 1995 as a fish in the tumultuous waters of high school where she encounters tricky friendships, forbidden romance, and questionable fashion choices," according to the show's official description. "Through it all, Elle uses her family as a touchstone, and forms an even tighter bond to her mother, proving that they can get through anything life throws their way as long as they have each other."
The trailer is filled with glimpses of Elle's life growing up in Bel-Air in the year 1995. She enjoys her glamorous existence before her parents tell her they are moving to Seattle, Washington.
"Bruiser, wish me luck," Elle says to her beloved dog before heading out to her first day at a brand-new high school.
Laura Kittrell created the series, which she co-showruns and executive produces with Caroline Dries. Witherspoon executive produces, while Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore helmed the first two episodes and also executive produces. Additionally, Prime Video has already ordered a season 2 ahead of season 1's debut.
The series also stars June Diane Raphael as Elle’s mother, Eva, and Tom Everett Scott as her father, Wyatt. Gabrielle Policano, Jacob Moskovitz, Chandler Kinney and Zac Looker make up the rest of the main cast.
Elle will debut to Prime Video on July 1.
