Donald Trump

Rising from the political ashes.

Following his defeat by Joe Biden four years ago political pundits on both sides of the divide wrote off any potential for a political future for Donald Trump.

Calling it for Trump.

The polling data, taken together with anecdotal data of significant movement among black and Hispanic voters toward Trump and the Republican Party, creates an unquantifiable but undeniable sense that Donald Trump is going to win this election.

Advantage Trump – Again

Trump now leads in all seven battleground states by margins ranging from four tenths of a point in Wisconsin and North Carolina to two and a half points in Georgia.

Advantage Trump.

In the latest Real Clear Politics average of polls, Trump now leads Harris in all those battleground states save for Wisconsin.

Voting has begun.

It is worth noting that today’s poll numbers are the best that Donald Trump has had in any of his three runs at the presidency.

State of the race: Tight.

According to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, Vice President Kamala Harris now leads former president Donald Trump by two points nationally.

Faceoff in Philly.

Last night Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump met in Philadelphia for the first – and potentially only – debate of the 2024 presidential campaign.

The wind now at her back.

Trump now trails in Michigan and Wisconsin. His lead in the other five battleground states of Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina and Georgia is at or below the margin of error.

The wind at his back.

Polling data is beginning to come in that takes into account President Biden’s disastrous debate performance two weeks ago and the news is all good for Donald Trump.

Disaster in Atlanta.

The debate between President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump marked the first candidate debate to take place in advance of the party conventions. It was a catastrophic night for the president.

Dazed and confused.

The apparent cognitive decline of President Biden has dominated much of the coverage of the race in the past 10 days.

A campaign season like no other.

Back in August 2023 when we started reporting on Decision 2024 we promised you a campaign season like no other. We’re clearly delivering on that promise.

The courthouse steps.

With respect to the presidential election that is now just 159 days away, all eyes today are on 100 Centre Street in Lower Manhattan, site of the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse.

Looking back, looking forward.

The big story at this point in 2016 was the presidential race. But the big story in 2024 is the wave of anti-Israel – pro-Hama protests that is washing over the top college campuses across the country.

In court and on campus.

The story of Decision 2024 is taking place this week on college campuses and in a New York City courtroom.

Money, Money, Money…Again

Trump fundraiser in Palm Beach doubles the take of Joe Biden’s then record-breaking haul in New York ten days earlier.

Money, Money, Money

This past week has been all about money for both President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump.

Rematch.

If everything holds, the presidential election of 2024 will be the seventh rematch election in our 235 year history.

On the glide path.

The rest of the primary calendar is now just a formality. Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for president in 2024.

We promised you drama.

Trump goes into next week’s Super Tuesday primaries in 15 states (plus American Somoa) – one of which states is Texas – with a primary record of 5-0.

Is it settled?

If the polls are to be believed, Nikki Haley is going to be trounced in her home state this weekend.

Why do voters in NH support Haley?

As people were leaving the rally for Nikki Haley in Exeter, NH Sunday evening we asked some of them who they voted for the last time and why they appear to be supporting Nikki Haley this time.

Nikki Haley tries to capitalize on DeSantis capitulation.

At a Sunday evening (Jan 21, 2024) rally at Exeter High School before a sold out crowd of about 800, Haley made the case that it’s a two-person race and that her candidacy does not carry with it the “chaos,” as she characterized it, of Donald Trump.
