Nikki Haley tries to capitalize on DeSantis capitulation.
In the mid afternoon on Sunday before Tuesday’s New Hampshire Primary, Florida governor Ron DeSantis suspended his campaign, leaving former South Carolina and Trump administration U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley as the only remaining challenger to frontrunner Donald Trump.
At a rally later that evening at Exeter High School before a sold out crowd of about 800, Haley made the case that it’s a two-person race and that her candidacy does not carry with it the “chaos,” as she characterized it, of Donald Trump.
