Many see Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey as an up and comer in the GOP. He has endorsed Mitt Romney in the GOP primary and campaigned for him at a rally in Exeter, New Hampshire Sunday night in advance of Tuesday’s first-in-the-nation primary.
Since Romney holds a prohibitive lead over his GOP rivals according to polling data, his rallies in New Hampshire sound more like general election events than primary election events.
In his remarks, Governor Christie took President Obama to task for what Christie characterizes as Obama’s pessimism about America.
